Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to read about our wine, book a tasting and place an order, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

• Every colour pairing used for text is checked against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds, and that check runs as part of our build.
• The site works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element and a skip-to-content link.
• Headings follow a logical order, landmarks are marked up, and each page has a single main heading.
• Every image carries alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Every form control has a visible, associated label, and errors are announced rather than signalled by colour alone.
• Motion respects the reduced-motion setting on your device — animations stop if you have asked your system to reduce them.
• The age verification dialog traps focus and hides the rest of the page from assistive technology while it is open.

Parts of the shopping and wine club experience are provided by Commerce7, and out-of-state ordering by Vinoshipper. We do not control the accessibility of those checkouts, though we raise issues with them when we find them.

If you would rather not use them, we will take your order over the phone.
